Collin asked what I wanted to eat, and I said Loco moco. He responded “what is that?” Really? Seriously, you don’t know? I explained briefly that it is basically sunny side up (egg) on top of hamburg steak. Although he didn’t know, he did a good job and also liked it.

Collin and I were invited for brunch on one Sunday, and we had big great brunch at the Arbutus Club. It is located in Arbutus Ridge area. The club is only for members.

I ordered an appetizer, Tuna & Avocado salad. It came with spinach Goma-ae, sesame dressing, tempura yam, micro greens. (This is quite bigger than I thought.)

For main, I ordered Grilled Beef Tenderloin. It came with bourbon peppercorn sauce, wilted Shimeji mushrooms.

Perfectly cooked.

And, for a dessert, I chose Chocolate Dome. It was light chocolate mousse filled with a peppermint creme brule on a chocolate flourless base.

See the inside the dome?

And, this is a dessert Collin ordered. Brule Banana Split. It was flourless chocolate cake, vanilla ice cream, strawberry sauce, brandy snap.
