As usual, Collin asked me what I wanted to eat for dinner on his day off, and I said something not heavy, like salad or soup. Then he asked if I liked to eat salad like the one he ate at Chambar. Sure, why not?

When he came home from shopping, he was so excited for cooking. 😀

In addition to the fancy salad, he also made Tuna Tataki to accompany with. The dressing was Dijon vinaigrette. This dinner was beautiful and tasted good, and was totally a success.

For another meeting in North Vancouver, we went for lunch. The lunch place was same as the last time, in the Lynn Valley Village. It is located at the corner of Lynn Valley Road and Mountain HWY.

Browns Socialhouse serves variety foods, burgers, salad, pizza, Mexican, rice bowls, fish. At the last two visits, I chose burgers, so I was thinking to try something different.

I chose from the Healthy Social Bowl section.

My choice, Tahitian Tuna Bowls with Low Carb Spa
(Wasabi Mayo, Cowgirl Salad, and Braised Red Cabbage & Goat Cheese instead of Almond Rice for Low Carb Spa)

This was a healthy choice. It was the right amount for lunch.

The others’ orders were same as last time, so no pictures were taken.

I got invited by the restaurant for the Customer Appreciation Day. This was probably an introduction that they would start their oyster bar. I talked to the chef at the end and he asked me what I thought about food, and I gave him some feedback, which was nice that he cares for customers.

All plates didn’t have names, so I just tried to describe as much as I can.
