In the middle of April, my co-worker told me that there was an announcement from Whistler Blackcomb, which a lift ticket for BC residents would be 50% off on that coming Sunday. Although it hadn’t snowed much, we decided to go! We headed there the night before and had dinner in Whistler.

We went to Sachi Sushi. They are a Japanese restaurant and serve Izakaya style dishes, in addition to Sushi. My co-worker seems to know the owner for a long time.

My friend and I were planning to meet after over a year that we met each other at last. She suggested this restaurant, and I agreed. A couple weeks ago, when I went for hiking to Deer Lake, I checked restaurants nearby for lunch and it was in my list, but I couldn’t make it.

Hart House is just around corner of Deer Lake. It is a heritage house and used for wedding as well. When we went in, a room was almost full with people.

I picked some of the dishes, but I couldn’t decide. I asked our server if we can share even soup, splitting to two cups or something, he accepted. Wow!

We ordered soup, half salad, and sandwiches from their brunch menu and shared.

I had bought a groupon deal for this restaurant, so I made a reservation before it’s expired. I liked food in Quattro in Whistler, so I was excited to try this place in Vancouver with the deal.

The deal included three-course tasting menu with $60 value for $30.
