The weather forecast looked good in the middle of October. It was a Canadian Thanksgiving long weekend, and my friend asked me what I would do on that weekend. I invited her to go for walking. We talked about where to go and decided to go to Stanley Park.
We started to walk from Denman Street, passed by Beaver Lake, crossed the HWY, looked down the Siwash Rock, and kept walking. After about 5km walk, we finally saw the cafe that we were planning to stop by.
The Teahouse is located in the western Stanley Park, between Siwash Rock and Third Beach. There are parking lots, but they were packed when we were there. The restaurant serves west coast cuisine but also you can have just tea and dessert. We were there around 4pm, but the tables were almost full. The reservation is recommended.
We ordered tea and dessert.
Tea
Her choice, White Chocolate Cheesecake
(Graham Crust, Cherry Compote)
My choice, Chocolate Milano Cake
(Light, triple Chocolate Mousse, Almond Wafer Crust)
It was nice to have sweets after exercising! Both cake was good.
And, an extra picture, the view from the restaurant entrance.
The Teahouse belongs to the same company as Seasons in the park, or The Sandbar on Granville Island. They also attend to the Dine Out event right now, so you might want to check out their menu.
