As I mentioned in the previous post, my friend and I went to Sakura Days Japan Fair. While we were waiting for our first food, sandwiches, we also picked something else to order from other food vendor. Although there were a few places set up tents, we stayed at this location. At this location, there were 3 more food vendors serving different food. One was Yakitori, Japanese grilled chicken skewer, which line up was too long. The others were Japanese-style hotdog or Takoyaki. So, we chose Takoyaki.

There were two more vendors selling Takoyaki at other tents. Takoyaki at this location was from Zipang Sushi. I have never been to their restaurant, but it is on Main street, in Riley Park area.

Takoyaki itself was salty. The dough must have been seasoned too much by salt. We didn’t enjoy so much, because of it. I wonder they do the same at the restaurant.

After having afternoon tea, all girls went for window shopping in downtown Vancouver for a couple of hours. When one of my friends left, I felt like having some bites, so the other friend and I went for Ebi Ten.

Ebi Ten is a Japanese fast food restaurant and serves rice including some Sushi, Udon noodles, Tempura, etc. They are across the Vancouver library on Robson street.

We ordered some side dishes and tea.

We were surprised with enormous mayo on the top of Takoyaki! She removed most of it.

I don’t believe that I hadn’t eaten at this restaurant over a year. I guess, I forgot to take pictures before I ate. 😛 Anyways, this time, it was a Collin’s request to get some food from them, as I had a meeting in downtown Vancouver on that day.

Ebi Ten is a Japanese fast food restaurant, close to the Vancouver library. Collin loves their Ebi tempura and Teriyaki chicken.

I was surprised when I opened the box. Each Karaage was huge! And, I like that. 🙂

Sorry, Collin picked and ate some while I wasn’t looking so that Takoyaki was a mess!

Oh, by the way, this group company announced that they opened 4th restaurant, Rolls Kitchen on Robson street, which serves customizing Sushi rolls.
