I went hiking to North Vancouver and missed lunch time. But I needed to go to Daiso in Richmond, which is a Japanese dollar store, so I just went to Aberdeen Centre to eat something as supper.

I know there is a new restaurant open in the food court early this year, so I had already decided to go there. Saboten is a chain restaurant in Japan where serves crunchy cutlet. They have donburi (rice bowl) and curry as well.

I ordered from their cutlet set menu.

Saboten Set (Loin, Shrimp, and Tenderloin Cutlet)

It comes with shredded cabbage, rice, Miso soup, grounded sesame, Tonkatsu sauce, tartar sauce and pickled veggies. There is one more sauce like soy sauce, but I don’t know what it is for.
