On his birthday weekend, Collin said he wanted to go for afternoon tea. He usually works on weekends and there is a time limitation to do, but as he had a day off on that weekend, it was easier. I checked a couple of places for what time they serve afternoon tea.
I made a reservation online for Patisserie Fur Elise. They are located near Vancouver library. There is an entrance gate for Victorian heritage house on Hamilton street.
We were guided to the upstairs to be seated when we arrived. There were two rooms, and at least ten people can fit in the room where we were.

Chef’s choice starter: Panna Cotta with Blueberry Coulis
Afternoon Tea
Bottom Tier: Savory
(Prosciutto, Brie and Fresh Basil Sandwich, Cucumber Dill finger Sandwich, Smoked Salmon Brioche, Bocconcini and Havarti Skewer, Scone served with housemade confiture and BC local berry honey)
I liked the prosciutto sandwich most. When I got a croissant in the shop downstairs before, it was sweet and wasn’t crispy, but this mini croissant for the sandwich was crispy.
Top Tier: Sweet
(Orange Dulcey daisy Tartlet, Mini Green Tea Chocolate Ganache with Red Beans, Mini Fur Elise, Lemon Cheesecake, Macaron)
We liked them all. The lemon cheesecake (white one) had some berry coulis at the top.
