After walking along Village Stroll path in Whistler, Collin and I went back to the hotel to have some rest. We watched TV and talked about where we were going for dinner. Well, he chose one of his favorite places rather than new places or famous places. 😀

Sachi Sushi is a Japanese restaurant and serves Izakaya style dishes as well as, of course, Sushi. I love this place, too. It is located on Main street in Village North.

When our sever came and greeted to us, I realized she was familiar! She was an instructor for the mountain while I worked for the mountain in a different position! Wow, it had been probably 5 years or more, since I saw her last time. Anyways, we caught up on each other’s lives while she was serving.

We ordered from their regular menu.

Although it says 2oz, our server said the person, who prepared, made a mistake to pour full amount of plum wine into the glass, without water. Haha. So, she brought some water on the side to us. Well, we didn’t mind drinking it as is! 🙂

Karaage was crispy outside and tender-moist inside, and it had ginger-soy taste, which was very good. Bulldog sauce came with it.

At the end, our server brought complimentary Umeshu + Sake (called Banzai in the menu, I think) to us, saying we seemed to like Umeshu so much! Thanks to her. We enjoyed both food and drinks. 🙂

While I was walking around in the previous night, I found two restaurants on Blackcomb mountain base where I haven’t been. One was Italian, and the other was Japanese. When I arrived at the Italian one, the restaurant wasn’t open yet, and there was 20 min til open. As I skipped lunch because of such a beautiful weather to ski, I was too hungry to wait. So, I went to the Japanese one.

Nagomi Sushi was right beside the Blackcomb base. It was before 6:00pm, but some tables were filled and some were already reserved. I didn’t have to wait, since I was only myself.

I ordered from their regular menu.

We walked around downtown in Victoria to find a seafood restaurant. The first restaurant that we walked in was 30 min waits, and Collin told me that he was too hungry to wait. We walked along Wharf street and went in the Sandbar Wharf restaurant.

We ordered from their regular menu.

We started with some alcohol and live half dozen of oyster and rosemary bread.
