After having unsatisfying Won Ton soup, we stopped by at a tea shop. DAVIDsTEA has lots of kinds of tea leaves, and their staff explains how each one tastes like or lets us smell those leaves.
The shop is not only a store to buy but also a cafe that you can sit and relax with your drink. One of their shops is located on Johnson street in downtown Victoria.
We both ordered from Green tea leaf.
Gyokuro Yamashiro
(From their menu: Unlike regular green tea, this is shaded for 6-7 weeks prior to plucking, so it’s dark, extra-energizing, and extremely rare outside of Japan.)
Organic Ever Green
(From their menu: Inspired by David Suzuki, this fruity blend combines Japanese Sencha with Canadian-sourced, sustainably harvested ingredients.)
Tea in the Cup
And, extra pictures of the interior and the view from the shop.
