Skipping my past food pictures for now, I’m going to up some timely pictures. ūüėÄ There must be Christmas events everywhere in the world, and Vancouver is no exception. For the first time, I¬†went to¬†German Christmas Market here in Vancouver. This event is held at the plaza in Queen Elizabeth Theater until Dec 24, started from the end of November. The theater is close to Stadium Skytrain station, in a walking distance from Vancouver downtown core.

I already have been three times, as I claimed the season pass! Everyone can do so, once you paid at the first time. The staff will explain to you as well as the receipt tells you how to do it.

The pictures today were taken on my first visit.

Santa was along the line up, when Collin and I was there. He looked like giving some candies to children.

There are lots of booths for gifts and food in the market. You will need some ID if you want to get some alcohol. We got some food for lunch.

Collin got this. I asked the staff what the difference between Grill and Schnechen was, and they showed the curling one is Schnechen.

I had this. They fried Schnitzel in the deep-fryer first. It was a cold day, so I guess they warmed it up for me.

After walking on booths for gifts, we decided to have some dessert.

They have two kinds of waffles; one is this German waffle, and the other is Belgian waffle (rounded one). As I haven’t seen the German one before, we chose this. There was also a promotion with $13 for¬†two German waffles.

The Day 1 was passed great!

Here is an extra picture. There was a merry-go-round in the market.
