On the previous day of my birthday in December, I asked Collin to have brunch with me on my birthday. I was thinking to go to Market again, as I liked them when we went on his birthday. But I also wanted to try a new restaurant. So, I chose one from my list. 🙂
Forage is a new restaurant after O’Doul’s in Listel Hotel in downtown Vancouver. They serve food using fresh local ingredients. There are bar counter and tables, and at least 30 people can seat.
We ordered from their brunch menu.
Fresh Orange Squeezed Juice
Coffee
Collin had already put milk before I took a picture. 😦
My choice, Buttermilk Pancakes
(Valley Blueberries, Honey Butter, Maple Syrup)
Collin’s choice, Classic Benny
(Back Bacon, Free-range Eggs, Crispy Potatoes, Hollandaise)
And, some pictures of interior.
Food was good. Just small note of what I didn’t like was when I eat pancake as sweet, I don’t want to taste potatoes or bacon. (They probably use same flipping for cooking savory and sweet. I understand that, but I just didn’t want any savory taste in that morning.)
I looked at their site, and the price seems slightly up since then.
