When I had Pho for dinner, now I wanted to have some sweet. As I had a lot of bags from Farmer’s Market and a birthday gift for my friend, I just wanted to get something to go.

I went to Thierry Chocolaterie Patisserie Cafe, close to Burrard Skytrain station, and chose one of their cake. As always, the cafe was packed by people.

I thought I might have had this one, but as far as I looked at my past posts, this was the first time. Hazelnut was strong, and I don’t remember more than that. čÖé

When I checked all restaurants for Dine Out Vancouver, this restaurant was my first to check. Collin and I wanted to go there for long time, but they open only dinner time, which is difficult for him to arrange the time, and also I didn’t like their Dine Out menu last year so that we had missed opportunities. In spite of the fact that I was checking it right after the menu was revealed, the restaurant was almost fully booked! I manged to make a reservation for 9:15pm.

Chambar is a sister restaurant of Medina Cafe located to the next door. It is in a walking distance from Stadium Skytrain station. They serve Belgian food. I don’t know what Belgian food is at all other than waffle, so this 3-course dinner for $38 was great opportunity.

Bajan Tea
(Goslings spiced rum, Takara Japanese plum wine, iced tea & orgeat)

I sipped and really liked it. So did Collin. I would order this next time for myself.
