On the second day of the Canadian Thanksgiving long weekend, my new friends whom I met at the baby shower, and I planned to go to the Grouse Grind. It was the first time for them to try. 🙂 After we got over it, we headed to Burnaby, where one of the friends live, for having late lunch.

Luckily, as the middle of long weekend, this restaurant was open, Wah Lun Chinese Restaurant. It is on Hastings Street, close to Willingdon Avenue. They have dim sum menu, too. I think you can order them until 3pm.

A husband of my friend ordered for us, for four.

This wasn’t in the list that we ticked with a pen, but he ordered it outside the paper. He asked the noodles as hard (fried) one. This reminds me of Kata Yakisoba that I eat in Japan. It tasted good.

This was new to me, and I liked it. I could eat more!

This is chicken cartilage. Yup, I liked them, too. There were a lot to finish. 🙂

This was also new to me. Basically, you just suck the piece and take fish meat out of the jaw bone. It was marinated with sweet sauce.

Dumpling is always good, right?

I liked all of his choices. We couldn’t finish them all, so we took the leftover home. And, for these volume, look at the total price, so cheap! I’m looking forward another opportunity!
