My ski time this season started a bit later than usual due to the delay of snow dump. In the middle of December, I went skiing to Whistler, and this was the second time to go up. It was still early season, so some sections on the mountains were still closed.

Before my first run of the day, I decided to have breakfast at Roundhouse. The Roundhouse is a place beside the top of Whistler Gondola accessing from the village. It is a two-story building, and there are washroom, gift shops, and seats that you can have food or rest. On the first floor, there is Pika’s food station and a cafe station, and on the second floor, there are food stations, Mountain Market and Expressway (behind each other), a cafe stand, a bar, and a restaurant.

Pika’s wasn’t open yet due to the early season, and there is a sing to go upstairs, Expressway.

I ordered from Breakfast Sandwiches menu.

The combination of brie, egg and croissant is great. Hash browns weren’t crispy; they were like being steamed.

The price is slightly up since the last season.

I went skiing again to Whistler in early December. It was a beautiful sunny day but cold! It was minus 12 on the mountain. So, before heading far from the Roundhouse, I decided to have the second (!) breakfast to warm up. (The first one was that I had before I left home.)

Roundhouse is a place on the Whistler mountain, located beside the Whistler Gondola coming from village. There are a few sections where you can order some food. As Pika’s located at the main floor wasn’t opened yet due to still the early season, I went upstairs. Mountain Market on the second floor was only available from lunch time, so I went to the backside, which is called Expressway.

I ordered from Breakfast Sandwiches menu.

When we went to Nook the other day, Collin told me that he could prepare for those antipasto at home, as long as stores sell ingredients. So, once he thought about that, he already went shopping on his next day off. 🙂

He said it was difficult to get Burrata cheese, so instead, he got buffalo mozzarella. Well, it still tasted good! All ingredients here are available at Granville Island.

Oh, this much antipasto can make you full as dinner. We enjoyed each different combination of meat and cheese with refreshment of salads.
