Collin and I stayed in Whistler on New Year’s night. After ready for riding, we went to Creekside where Creekside Gondola takes you to the Whistler mountain. We decided to have breakfast before we started riding.

Dusty’s is at the bottom of Whistler mountain of Creekside. For breakfast, Dusty’s Backside is open.

We ordered from their breakfast sandwiches menu.

Two seasons ago, hash brown potatoes for the sandwiches menu was an option to add with a cost, but now they are included in the price. With that, the price is slightly up since then.

The sandwiches looked better than before. They tasted good.

On New Year’s night, Collin and I headed to Whistler to ski next day. We decided this stay at last minute, so when we went to some of the restaurants in Whistler Village, there were a lot of people waiting at the door, and the waiting time was more than one hour.

I suggested checking up 21 Steps Kitchen & Bar, because when I went there with my friend on a long weekend before, we were able to squeeze into the lounge upstairs, without waiting for long for the restaurant downstairs. As I thought, we were guided to the lounge called “The Attic” and waited for 15 min to be seated. 🙂

21 Steps is a tapas restaurant, located between Whistler Village Square and bridge to the Village North. From Whistler Village Square, the path turns left to the bridge. Just before the turn, you will see the stairs and menu board on your right.

We ordered from their dinner menu. There are small plate and big plate sections.

He seemed to like this very much so that he ended up ordering another one.

Long Island Ice Tea Double
(Vodka, Tequila, Gin, Rum, Triple Sec with fresh lemon and Coke)

When I saw this, I had to order. This recalled one of my good memory that I spent time with co-workers in Whistler. Sentimental? Haha.

Whistler didn’t have much snow in December. As I had a plan on the following weekend, I decided to go skiing one last time before the end of the year. The alpine wasn’t open due to gusting, so I went to Roundhouse to have early lunch.

The lunch menu was available after 11 am at Mountain Market on the second floor in the Roundhouse on Whistler mountain. They serve soup, sandwiches, deli, grilled stuff, noodles, etc. They have vegetarian and gluten free choices, too.

I ordered from the kettle menu.

Irish Potato Soup

This was under vegetarian menu. A small bun came with it.

If you use Whistler Blackcomb App for iPhone, you can check “Tips & Deals” or “Food & Drink” in the app where you can see all vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free menu.
