For breakfast, we ate at the Pacific restaurant at The Hotel Grand Pacific in Victoria. It is located in the inner harbour.

They offer buffet at breakfast, dim sum on weekends, and also afternoon tea.

Collin chose an individual dish and I chose buffet from their breakfast menu.

Egg was perfect, but my English muffin of eggs Benedict from buffet was stone hard, and I couldn’t cut it off. When I told the server, she asked the kitchen to make a fresh one. It was nice of them, but it was still hard to eat. I guess the muffins were already old or toasted too much.

My favorite croissant wasn’t at Pastry section, which was so sad. My favorite of the buffet was smoked fish. 😀

I forgot to take a picture of Collin’s choice, Traditional Eggs Benedict. He didn’t read the menu well, so biscuit came with the eggs Benedict instead of English muffin, which he left on the plate, and he also didn’t like their Hollandaise sauce.

The server probably felt what we felt (weren’t satisfied), so she gave us some discounts.

We have been there every year, but I think their food is getting worse… The first time was the best.

We went back to hotel after walking around downtown Victoria, and I was searching restaurants for dinner. Collin said anything was fine, so I looked at somewhere serves good seafood.

Blue Crab Bar & Grill came up as good reviews. I made a reservation online. The restaurant seems to serve great seafood dishes. It is located in James Bay area, walking along Inner Harbour towards Fisherman’s Wharf.

We ordered from their regular and special menu (fresh sheet).

I thought the clams’ shape was strange. Collin said they were local ones.

I was so happy to eat so many of clams, but at the bottom of the soup bowl, there was a lot of sand sunk and it was getting inedible. We talked to the server and they gave me a small bowl of soup. I thought they just gave me soup but more clams were also in it. 🙂 And, there was no sand. Perfect!
