My friend decided to move out of her place at the end of April, so our other friends and I was planning to help her move her stuff on a weekend. Before helping, I met her earlier to have quick lunch. As I had to work in the morning a bit and we didn’t have much time, she selected two places nearby.
We chose one in Marpole area, Cafe de l’Orangerie. They are a Japanese style Italian or French restaurant. food.
We ordered from their regular menu.
My choice, Shrimp Macaroni Gratin
(Served with Homemade Mashed Potato & Homemade Bun)
My friend’s choice, Japanese Style Neapolitan Spaghetti
(Ham, Mushroom, Onion, Red Pepper, Special Tomato Ketchup Sauce)
My macaroni gratin was OK. It tasted good, but the white sauce was a bit watery than I thought. Thinking about cooking myself, I appreciate they have it on the menu, though.
My friend didn’t like her spaghetti much. I think the tomato sauce wasn’t seasoned well.
